As we move closer toward go-live at each site, we will be sharing ownership of the program’s success with site leaders. Collectively, their role will be to evaluate site readiness and ensure the site is prepared to implement the new Epic EHR system.
Epic Site Sponsor
- Accountable for effective site implementation
- Set priority for program and delegate responsibility downward within site
Epic Liaison
- Accountable to the site sponsor and Leadership team for effective site readiness
- Point person to coordinate engagement with site in order to keep the Epic program on time
- Identify and appoint the right leaders to reconcile site-specific issues
Epic Site Engagement Team Leaders
- Director or manager role in the organization has responsibility to ensure departments meet organizational directives. This person may or may not be directly engaged in the Epic rollout, but will have teams impacted by the change and are responsible to see their area of responsibility is ready for Epic deployment
Epic Site Engagement Team Members
- Department / unit-level leader or informal leader who will assist with user engagement and adoption and department-level operational readiness for the Epic program. This person will have day-to-day operational knowledge and will work closely with the Epic team to implement the new system
Epic Super Users
- Serve as peer-level endorsers of Epic and the new standardized workflows
- Support end-user operational readiness and adoption
